About me

my_pic I look evil, right? (Please tell me that looks evil to you. I need to look evil)

*Snicker* Actually folks, I am just your average, everyday studio artist. I wakeup--shower and then do my thing. I take a lunch break (when I remember to) and then I go back and do my thing. When my kids (I have two of them) are playing in the background because it's summer break-- I am usually still doing my thing. And so on and so forth until my hubby and kids go to sleep. *rubs hands together with evil glee* THEN! Then I am free to do my fun thing...the webcomic.

As a studio artist by trade, I get my bread and butter by sculpting, illustrating, doing the occasional historic calligraphy/illumination, and many other artforms. I do pottery too. I even web design from time to time. I have done any number of things over the years besides art as well-- including working for fast food joints & a college bookstore.

I liked doing all those different things. It gave me perspective so that when I became a world famous artist, I would not get a big head. LOL! And maybe if I actually ever become a world famous artist, it will have helped with that.

I also have an affinity for animals. I love my pets. I have many marine fish (Including an eel), a few freshwater ones, a coral reef tank, a great fluffy white cat, a cockatiel, a finch, an iguana.... And oh yeah, did I mention my two kids? They are my favorite pets of all.

I am 34, a cancerian, and I have been married for 14 years to a Saint of a patient man who is 6' 7" tall. My kids are 12 (my daughter) and 10 (my son). I really love the color green. The world is full of hundreds more colors of green than any other color. I live in Kentucky. It's nice and...uhm...green here. LOL!

I am never sure what to and what not to tell, in a biographical page. But I will say that my favorite thing about being an artist is sharing that creative part of myself with the rest of the world. So thanks so much for stopping by and allowing me to do that. *wink*
